The 5 Rules Of Combining Power & Pleasure

Forget the ‘business’ in ‘business and pleasure’. As modern women, we prefer to use the word ‘power’ simply because gone are the days when only women in the corporate world excel. Being an empowered woman today, whoever you are, is being a movie star in your life’s narrative, where no subject is taboo. It’s knowing how to marry power with pleasure. Because, really, we only have one life to live – might as well live it the way we define it.

Make your own rules

The first rule of embracing both power and pleasure? Take charge and write your own rules. There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all. Think about how liberating and fulfilling life could be when it was on your own terms. Become your own trailblazer.

Value your passions

Pursuing your passions can inspire you in many positive and rewarding ways. Remember, your passion (or your hobby) is worth making time for. Who says you can’t work hard and play harder? Do what you love and you’ll love what you do.

Form your tribe

You know what they say: your vibe attracts your tribe. Surround yourself with people who boogie to the same tune as you and establish a network of people who empower each other. That way, you’ll empower them and be empowered, too.

Rouge it

Make yourself your priority. The more you take care of yourself, the more confident and empowered you become. So go on, rouge it. Wear your opinion on your lips – literally. The Rouge Dior Liquid is Dior’s latest and most intense liquid lip colour that celebrates power and pleasure unlike any other. It is the perfect personification of the ‘power look’ – it delivers major couture colour impact with up to 12 hours of long wear. And the pleasure? It glides on smooth and velvety and indulges your lips with irresistible comfort and lightness.

With four types of finishes – Liquid Rock Matte, Liquid Electrical Metal, Liquid Pop Satin and Liquid Velvet Nude – you can easily alter your look or your mood however you want it. There is a sort of fearless attitude behind this, and we’re definitely not complaining.
